Queen Victoria stayed here in 1882, arriving at her villa by train. A long red carpet stretched the length of the avenue, leading to the Chalet des Rosiers. Victoria and the King of England descended into the greenery that surrounded the estate. A marble plaque in the current entrance recalls that Queen Victoria stayed at the chalet in March and April 1882. Magnificent little two-bedroom apartment, completely renovated, opening onto a sunny, well-exposed terrace, in a quiet location with sea views. A real ‘coup de coeur’. Cellar and private parking not included!
